Ingredients

  • 1 Package of Frozen Deveined Deshelled Shrimp
  • 1 Bundle of Cilantro
  • 2 Cups of Salsa (either Taqueira or Salsa Verde)
  • 1 Avocado
  • Corn Tortillas
  • 1 tbsp Cumin
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder
  • A good amount of sunflower oil

Instructions

  1. Defrost and wash the shrimp and pat them dry
  2. In a bowl season the shrimp with olive oil and all the spices and set aside
  3. Fry the tortillas until they are cooked in the sunflower oil on a hot cast iron (similar to a comal)
  4. Slice up the avocado and cilantro
  5. Fry the shrimp in oil for about 3 minutes until they have changed color
  6. Pour the salsa and cook them in the salsa for a minute or two while stirring frequently
  7. Cut up the shrimp into smaller pieces and place them on the tacos
  8. Top with the avocado, Mexican Crema, Picked Onions and the cilantro
