🧅Eric and Dharti's easy Pickled Onions

Quick and easy picked onions that go on pretty much anything.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 Large Onions
  • 1 cup of White Vinegar
  • 1 cup of Water
  • 2 tbsp of Peppercorns
  • 3 Bay Leaves
  • 1 tbsp of Chili Flakes
  • 1 tbsp of Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tbsp of Kosher Salt
  • 2 tsp of Sugar

Instructions

  1. Half the onions and slice them very thin
  2. Shove them all into a mason jar until packed tight
  3. Combine the rest of the ingredients together in a pot and bring to a boil
  4. Once at a slight boil, take off the heat and pour into the mason jar leaving no air
  5. Let sit for at least 30 min (or until cool)
