🌶️ Chili de Arbol Hot Sauce

A fairly spicy hot sauce that is perfect for tacos. They had their debut at chorizo taco night.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Dried Cup Chili de Arbol Peppers
  • 1-2 tbsp Agave Syrup
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Cup White Vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup of Water
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Stem and de-seed the chili peppers
  3. Place them evenly in a cast iron and toast in the oven for 5-10 min
  4. Take the cast iron out of the oven and soak the peppers in water for 30min
  5. Put all the ingredients in the blender and pulse until smooth. Add the oil in slowly as you blend to let it emulsify
  6. Cool and serve
